Introducing the New We Work Remotely

Since 2013, We Work Remotely (WWR) was one of the first online remote job boards to surface and challenge other companies to pay attention to remote work. states that the number of American employees working remotely rose to 43 percent in 2016 from 39 percent in 2012.


“Back in the early days, one of our major initiatives was expanding outside of the sector and incorporating , , and ,” says Matthew Hollingsworth, Head of Operations. “As technology and the world continues to advance, we intuitively knew that positions in these categories would also benefit from remote structures.”

For WWR’s extensive community of over 2,500,000 monthly visitors, the website features a new aesthetic, improvements in the job posting experience and candidate screening, and additional clarity around timezone restrictions when searching for opportunities, allowing remote work to be more accessible.
